Righty, along the same lines as my other post regarding my dissertation - i'd like to do a small article about PH. Now i know that it was started by Ted (/waits to be told otherwise teacher )- but thats about all i know. Would anyone be able to give me a brief history (pref including dates and maybe membership numbers) of the PH site? Is there a brief readme or history anywhere on the site that i should have looked at?

Cheers people
G

From what I have picked up from comments in other threads, this forum started up as a place for TVR owners to meet up (Ted has owned TVRs so started this?). It has grown from there.

Feel free to correct as nessacery...

Why dont you drop Ted an email? I'm sure he'd be happy to help you.

(In return for some pies of course. )

IIRC it started as 'PetrolHeads' and was to get other TVR owners to get in contact with each other.

Well, let's see. First the earth cooled. And then the dinosaurs came, but they got too big and fat, so they all died and they turned into oil. And then the Arabs came and they bought Mercedes Benzes. And Prince Charles started wearing all of Lady Di's clothes. I couldn't believe it.

Petrolheads - January 24th 1999

You have to copy the whole URL into a browser as a click splits it up and doesn't work
