There were quite a few Monaro's there. One bloke had a black one with the number plate BO55 VXR. It had 470bhp and he's soon to have a supercharger fitted to take it up to around 550bhp. Sounded lovely through a new stainless exhaust.

That mustang is beautiful, could just imagine the roar of the engine now. Looks very well looked after by its owner though as well.

I have to say I much prefer an unmolested original looking GT500 to the one shown above. There was a *perfect* white one on display at Classics on the Common in Harpenden a few weeks back. Totally immaculate, obviously restored but without changing from the look of the original. Moulded plastic bumpers just don't really work on a 1960's car IMO.

Thanks for taking the time to post those pics big dub, there is some lovely machinery there.

I really like the idea of the Litchfield, and seeing the Cosworth sticker on it makes me smile

I really want a Dax cloud9

Hi BO55 VXR, don't know whether you remember speaking to me outside Race Control before things kicked off? Loved the sound of your Monaro.

The times aren't on the website yet, but if you keep trying www.hssports.co.uk click on results then follow Motorsports links, it should be up soon. I was there timing the track and 1/4mile times. There were some bloody fast cars there, just a shame there wasn't more of them. The Evo3 and the Dax on the video links I posted were incredibly fast, as was the yellow Elise around the track.
