As some of you might have noticed Ive been pretty absent from the forums recently.

With some terrible timing I was made redundant last week after six months with the company. (In the meeting I was expecting to be offered a permanent position... wow misjudged that one didnt I?)

That kind of puts the nails in the coffin of my latest cunning plan to return to performance machinery. (getting a bike)

I dont suppose anyone out there is desperate for someone with several years of call centre management experience?

*hopes*

Sorry to hear about another redundancy. I'm in the IT industry and still worrying about this myself. Had it done to me before and don't want it to happen again. Hope you find something soon.

I work for a call centre company, but we dont really have any offices that way. Just as a thought Rockwell are in MK, thought about consultancy?

Cunning plan, but unfortunately I havent quite got the right experience for something like that

Ive managed to pootle about at the team management / MIS / Project setup level, which doesnt leave one with quite the right CV for it.

It might be worth a shot. They take people from the business and make them Rockwell experts, not generally the other way round...
