celebrity driving school
Discussion
ok, who else watched this trash last night!?!
i can't believe how bad the drivers were, it seemed like 'cos they were celebritys they just let them loose on the open road with no trundling round a quite street for the first hour...
although i'm not sure how faked some of it was, because when the camera car was following paul o'grady he was hitting kerbs/verges etc...
but when they did some close up shots of him wiggling across (a now deserted road) there was a fat bloke in a jumper driving...
also for someone who had no control of the vehicle he had remarkable control of the vehicle - if you know what i mean... most people who just ran straight across a verge would panic and loose control, but he just seemed to carry on his merry way...
oh and i pitty the poor bloke who's trying to teach jade (from big bruvva) see probably only had 5 minutes air time and i already wanted to beat her to a pulp with a tyre wrench and/or krooklok

It won't be very funny when they kill or disable them selves or someone else. And I bet they won't show that on telly.
Entertainment for the masses?? I think we should be worried for what the future holds.
im with you rich- i was appalled by what i saw - crashing his car in his own driveway - wtfs going on there? they really did seem to be making a joke of poor driving which of course it is not. 'comically bad drivers' learners or otherwise they are still on public roads and pose a hazard to other motorists - least they werent speeding eh? *sigh* id kick up a fuss but it wouldnt achieve anything

Didn't see the prog you're referring to but I had the same feelings when it all started with Maureen of 'Driving School'. I was apalled that it should be considered amusing to watch someone too stupid and incompetent to hold a steering wheel being celebrated in prime-time. All part of the dumbing-down of TV - but that's another thread..
