Is it just me or do you all rush out of bed in the mornin, look out of the window then put on the telly to get the weather, to see if it's worth getting your toy out of the garage for your drive to work?

Doesn't it really p*ss you off when they forcast rain and it stays fine?

Havin got up at 6.30, fought with the kids for an hour and a half before escapin to the office I really look forward to the drive in provided I'm in the right car.

That way you can take a detour home, tear through the country lanes (in a responsible manner of course) and then you can blame the traffic congestion when you don't get home before the kids have gone to bed!

Yes - and when you get in to work you put the hood back up, because everyone whinges "s'gonna rain y'know" and you have to take it back down a the end of the day annyway and when you.......

has your GT4 got any rustproofing...waxoyle etc?

Mine hasn't but it's an import. One I saw in a breakers seemed to have some sort of rustproofing. Was wondering if this was part of UK spec?

Yep its been waxoyled but I dunno if this was done when new or by the previous owner. There's no rust underneath just a few spots where he'd been a little careless. Still at 81 and only going to the pub and back, i guess he's bound to have been a little careless (or pi**ed)!

Know what you mean - we should be out there, it's looking a bit grey here an' all - but we normally keep the weather updates for the snow
