Ipaq based sat nav?

Think I have managed to blag a free Ipaq (for evluation purposes of course ) and I have been told there is a few sat nav add ons available that make it a handy in car add on.

Anyone used one?

Best one at the moment is probably the Navman 3400

I use an external GPS and tomtom route planner

Yeah, I have the Tomtom Navigator package with the Navman GPS. Pretty damn good too - just navigated into Peterborough and out again without a hitch....Really impressed with it.

However, think about which type of GPS you want. The sleve one like the Navman is OK, but it means that the Ipaq needs to be in the front window to get a signal. While the separate ones can be on a cable in a more strategic location.... all depends on what you want really. Personally would consider the separate one if I were to buy one again, but its a small price to pay for a complete navigation system for less than £300!

Check on eBay as there are loads for sale at cheaper than RRP. Might get a nice deal...
