Pancakes anyone?

'I'm guna go and make some pancakes' I said
'you don't know how to' she said

She's right (of course) so does anyone know the ingredients for the mix?

4 oz (110 g) plain flour

pinch of salt

2 large eggs

7 fl oz (200 ml) milk mixed with 3 fl oz (75 ml) water

2 oz (50 g) butter

I had a go , smoke alarm went off , right sod this down to the local shop and got beers in , i had scampy and chips in the end , i know how to use a deep fat fryer

Or Aunt Bessies do some ready made ones that you just pop in the microwave.

I think there is also ones in liquid form that you just pour and toss.

Sorry I'm late to this but I used Garry Rhodes recipe of

4oz Flour
1 egg
1/2 pint milk
pinch salt
1oz butter.

Put flour & salt in bowl. Whisk in egg and milk. Melt butter and then wisk into mix.

Excellent pancakes.

I like the old country version:

Take one Hedgehog (or fowl)
One Steam Roller

and mix the two together.
