Are there any mass produced (say for arguments sake more than 10000) cars sold in the UK where there are no drivable examples left in the UK? I thought the Truimph Acclaim might have disappeared totaly but apparently out of 133000'ish produced there a few left on the roads and one at Gaydon.

I saw one yesterday! Actually I'm starting to like them. Probably because they're a bit different than the euroboxes you see today.
What about my car, once a member of Britains best selling car family, the ADO16-range:

They're quite rare over here (The Netherlands), especially as a Morris. The Austins are a tad more common.

I think if you are talking British cars you'll probably find for all the mass produced cars there is a specialist car club or organisation for them, so some examples will exist and live on.

Good point that! Havent seen one for an age, you could buy them new up till 1990 or something as well, so not that old!

Maestro
Metro
Granada
Cortina (the later ones)
Calibra
Carlton

There's one rotting in the front garden in a house near me. The garden also contains a pair of 4x4 Fiat Panda's. The owner appears to have a thing for awful 4x4s.

I used to like those paperbag and back in 1986 my mum nearly bought one, but chose a Volvo 340 instead!
But they weren't four wheel drive, front wheels only nerd
But if you squint I think it does look very similar to series 1 discovery!

Dunno about this one, I see quite a few. (Carltons too, actually). They're beginning the suffer the relentless advances of the bolt-on boys, though.

Auto Trader lists only 3 Talbots nationally (and one of those is a camper van). None of them is a Solara. One of the other two, however, is a Talbot Matra Murena which has got to be rare (though was never common in the first place).
