Scamera info on the radio.

Was out driving tonight, quite happy listening to some music on Radio 2, waiting for the next song but no, it's an information broadcast for Speed Cameras....
Goes something like this...
"So you may be thinking that Speed Cameras are just another way to make money"
"You may think that they are painted grey so they can be hidden easier" etc etc

"BUT YOU'RE WRONG!!! Speed Cameras are only placed at Accident hotspots and.......

Sorry I didn't catch the rest of it because I turned it off at that point.

Now I'm sorry but there are a few accident hotspots of which I know of, none of which have cameras there but there are camera's in the most ridiculous of places.

I don't want these poxy 'information broadcasts' interupting some decent music.

Listen to Talk Sport instead, the balanced views of Mike Dicken and James Whale are always welcome listening in my car when I'm not hooning (Stereos off during hooning, I want to hear the engine and tyre squeal ).

I know, there was some of that Grage/Drum&Bass rubbish on Radio 1, and Opera on Classic FM, The Eagle (local) was playing some old pop rubbish and Capital is just pants.

And as for a CD player, it's Mum's car and she doesn't want one so I have to wait untill I get my own car (looking more in the shape of a LR Discovery now, MMMmmmmm Muddy Times again )

Oh yes totally agree, which is why the westfield doesn't have one....well and the fact you wouldn't hear it but the 1.0 Breathless corsa engine isn't much, have had the tyres squealing though

I think the deal is that speed cameras can be placed within a mile of accident hotspots. Doesn't have to be on the same road tho!! Just a mile radius! So I guess that means they can put them wherever the fk they want! Damnit!!
