Have to be at a client meeting directly after lunch and the zip on pants has just broken. So my fly will be wide open and advertising its contents all through the meeting. Bloody Hell.

I'm really sorry to laugh but that is so funny on a more sympathetic note, can't you find any safety pins from somewhere? or a stapler? that might help to keep your dignity till you get home.

Edited to add, to staple the zip together

Staples!

On a slightly different but related note I was once part of a team of consultants making a presentation to a bank in Mexico City. We had been out the night before, and in the middle of the presentation a colleague got struck by the fact that he had inadvertently drunk a glass of water before leaving the hotel. You can guess the rest...

OO feck!!

Got any safety pins? If not keep your jacket buttoned.

Failing that don't worry - everyone will pretend not to notice anyway

You may be able to effect an emergency reparir by using a (un)bent paper clip or even a stapler. Obviously, be careful and do it somewhere private.

Cut down on the coffee this afternoon, too.

My Jacket seems to cover it up to a reasonable extent, hope the heating is not set to tropical! Unfortunatly no time to get to a shop as out in the middle of farming country in Ireland. So jacket on, brave face, dash of humour and hope for the best.

Thanks for the help and glad I could add a bit of humour to your days.

Cable ties? If the zip is bust anyway and you have a small knife to make a hole either side, one or two of them should do the trick..

Tie a string through your prince albert and lace the fly hole up like a hiking boot!

Just a suggestion.

If it's a presentation you're giving why not use this opportunity to your advantage?

As soon as you've got the first slide up on screen simply reach in through your broken zipper, whip out your whanger and use it as a pointer?

I tell you, it's a winner......

Just leave it be, and if anyone asks you, tell them it's a tradition that goes waaaay back in your family, as a symbol of fertility and sexual prowess.
