Hi,

I'm helping a friend (no - really!) with her insurance claim.

I won't go into details here, but I'd like to be able to get an official map / plan of the roundabout / junction that the accident occured on.

I've looked at OS's web-site, and whilst the 'Site Plan' maps have the type of scale I'm looking for, they don't seem to show road-markings.

Does anyone know where I can get a plan like this from?

Thanks

swilly

Not aware of maps in this detail.. What I've done in the past when working in accident investigation is get the highest detail map I could, then visit the scene again and mark it up, plus take photos from various angles. Watch out while you are doing this though; ideally you need to have a couple of people with you, one to watch the road ahead and one the road behind to make sure you don't get hit by anyone not expecting someone to be wandering around with a camera..

www.multimap.com

You can buy aerial photos in quite high resolution from them. Also for quite a high resolution of £ notes though.
