Hello people

I am now going to have more time to go Karting and have decided to take part in outdoor events about 0nce every few weeks.

As this would be outdoors and with the summer (hopefuly)coming up would it be possible to use the tinting film on the visors instead of geting a tinted visor. I have some tinting film left over from doing a mates car, so it would cost me nowt.

Thanks for you help guys

You can get inserts as well that cover the visor. About a tenner from any bike shop.

Matt.

Should be OK. Best check the club rules at the Kart track first or you might be unable to race.

Failing that a pair of sunnies under your helmet is usually acceptable.

Edited due to my crap use of the English language.

I wouldn't

I bought some special film in the early eighties (you couldn't get tinted visors at the time) that went on the inside of the visor. Looked great until I used the bike in anger, then it wrapped itself around my face, just what you want at high speed on a bike.

get a proper tinted visor
