Is it just me ? Am I just plain slow ? Or have all you buggers been keeping this miracle stuff secret from me ?

I'd always just written it off as another useless potion that was over priced and would fail to do what it said on the can, but oh how wrong. This stuff really is bloody fantastic, and no bugger told me until the other week, windscreen wipers are now a thing of the past and as for bike visors, well I haven't tried it yet but think it should be as good.

Yep, you're plain slow!

Amazing stuff, drove back from Newcatsle on Sunday night through heavy rain and didn't even think of touching the wiper stalk.

Used it religiously for many years - absolute necessity on a TVR.

Fantastic on bike visors as well - as is Fog-X (although Fog City works better!)

I found some stuff in Halfords that seems to last longer than rain x and is easier to apply, it's called rain wizard I think and is easily identifiable as it comes in a pink dildo

Love Rain-X never got the anti-mist one to work though even though I have followed the instructions.

I use rain x on my bike lid and it is fantastic. Doesn't seem to have done anything bad to the visor but even if it did, they aren't expensive to replace.

Jaw dropper. Really, really works. Beware! Watching the water peeling over the windscreen can be hypnotic. Wait till you drive through a series of sweeping bends when it is pissing down. The drops all peel off to the left, then to the right ... psychadelic ... already got my coat ... sorry

Rain X good as is the anti fog stuff by the same people. Only thing is it says you have to apply it twice a year of something - I find it more like once a month. might try the pink dildo stuff then.

Yep, my mate used it on the plastic headlamp lenses on his volvo and they started to go opaque.

When i used to work in Halford (stop laughing!) it was very hard to keep a straight face when asked by a woman "Where is that rain x thingy, i need to use it really badly"

I found that funny, but my collegue just went pale in the face at the thought of the woman using it, i wonder where the blood was going

Yep you're slow - I've been using it for the last 13 years, back when it was marketed as a fishtank glass gunk preventer....

Anyone used Ombrello? Supposed to last a year (!) and be much better still than Rain-X, Rain Wizard, etc. I've just got some to try out, though can vouch for the pink Rain Wizard stuff from Halfords.
