I'm thinking of going to this with some mates. Problem is i've never been before and need to know what thoughts on driving are as opposed to flying down(costs etc and easy once there)

Anyone any ideas and are there any PH members going down-if so and your driving we could link up.

Finally, how easy is it to get onto those party boats as the totty is unbelievable on them-anyone blagged this and if so how! Recommendations on where to stay is also handy as are bars and clubs to visit!! Sorry so many questions but time is running out...ciao

Getting onto the boats is easy, just ask

You'll also find that no-one really takes the race seriously, if you get one of the drivers shit-faced in one of the many cheap clubs they may even let you have their drive on Sunday

I did this last year with the missus - highly recommended. Some briliant roads (especially over the alps through Biarritz etc..), and great place for top cruising when you get there... TVR's catch the eye big time too as Ferrari's are more common than Mondeo's over race weekend. Driving the circuit 4 hours after the race was fun too...
I'd recommend getting a Villa in one of the surrounding villages - we stayed in St Paul De Vence, and drove in every day of the GP no worries parking Casino Sq B4 9AM. If you do, make sure you take a day out to go to Maranello - great place, Fantastic roads...

I just wish they didn't leave the factory at 07:00 and f up my journey to work. Nice boats, even though they don't have a sail.
