Had my Ford Ka now for just over a year. Handles really well but always thought of it as quite slow HOWEVER, driving up the A52 early this evening I had 1 numpty up my backside and a lorry in front of me, the numpty was starting to bother me so I decided to drop the hammer on my KA past the lorry! Took em all by suprise!!!!! Ulrika shifted like a rat up a drain pipe past the lorry! Never saw the numpty who liked driving up my arse again for dust!!!

Ulrika, today you make me proud!!!

All this with a couple of passengers and a bag of shopping weighing her down!!!

ZZZOOOOooooooMMM!!!!!!!!!!

i remember my brothers old fiesta diesel, some days that used to go like shit off a shovel and others it would hardly move under its own power...

:geekalert:

Actually, I think you are may need to be made aware of that there are three variations on the Ka engine depending on it's manufacture date. There is a 50psi engine, a 60psi engine, and a (supposedly) more powerful 1.3i duratec engine. Whether any are faster or not remains to be seen, but my missus's old Ka went like shit off a shovel, but her new one is slower (although loosening up nicely... )

:geekalertoff:

There ya go Mrs Fish, I love Ka's too, so I'll stand up for you...

Many a time I've given some bigger cars grief...(without the missus on board)

We have one, and I have always admired the power of "the beast".

I think the colour (that blue-purple colour) really makes it go like custard down the staircase...
