Scooting across country tonight at hoonage velocity and out pops a rabbit from the verge, 'bang-clatter-wallop' resounds from the wheelarch and then a dragging noise.

opps thinks I and pop out to have a look, flipping 'eck the entire wheel arch trim is ripped off & has dissapeared, the sill trimm is hanging loose and dragging on the road and the side of the bumper is hanging off.

So I turn round to go and survey the carnage and the flippin' thing is lieing in the middle of the road intact surrounded by bits of VW!! blimey tough cookies these country Rabbits!!

'durin the wowarrr' the falkland one that is, I was based on Ascension Island and the place was overrun by land crabs (the sideways walking type not austin maxi's)
if we were to drive down from green mountain to go for a beer or eleven we would have to drive over the buggers as they came up from the beach for a kip......imagine driving over an eighteen inch snail x 1000's

war was hell

A La volvo advert. If you bought one, you could drive round them all.

Scouse rabbit? :ducks&runsforcover:

Did the badger lurking in the undergrowth make off with the car whilst you were inspecting the booby-rabbit?
