Did you just see the news with the anti-war protestors? Blocking off the whole of Trafalgar square, lying across motorways and train tracks?

What is wrong with these people? Sure I don't WANT a war, but I am not so dumb that I delay traffic, hoping that Blair will call it all off because some people are late coming home from work.

Was good to see the train-load of Celtic fans being stopped by some hemp-wearing tossers on the tracks. As soon as the fans got out and started screaming at them, they ran like crazy.

Anyway, sorry to rant at you all, but I just can't stand it when people are so stupid like this, especially when they are marching down the road, loud-speaker in hand, saying 'this is just the start, we will continue for as long as it takes' huh? No jobs to go to, no wonder you've nothing worthwhile to do.

I don't want to start another war thread, just thought I would get my 2p's worth on what is a hopeless situation. Thanks, for listening, blood starting to reach normal temperature again. G

P.S. I wish they were hippies, proper ones like in the 70's, at least they walked around with some good music blaring.

Big Al.

Had a whole load of 'peace protesters', or kids wanting to skip school, here in Edinburgh. Right pain in the ass. If only it was raining! That would stop them lying in the road I bet. As one policeman with a sense of humour said: "Just let the buses run over them. It would help improve the city's average IQ"

The police on the report looked really pissed off. Some had even been assaulted. I bet if you were to grab one of these goons (protestors, not police) and give them a quick slap then you would get away with it. Good way of taking out the road-rage after sitting in the queue for hours.

Review Ted's article "Violence" (I believe) on road rage (in Ted's Rants). It's instructional.

Odd paradox that the peace protestors often seem more violent and up for a ruckus than the soldiers doing the fighting

And what's with these kids protesting? WTF do they know about anything? If these ignorant, indisciplined fools are the future of the country then God help us. Although I asked my eldest daughter if she was going to demonstrate and she replied "yes, if it meant I got an afternoon off school", and I believe that gives a clear insight into the deeper motivation.

Edited bit. Also, on Question Time, the peaceniks are rude to anyone holding views in opposition to their own. I hate rude people.

Yes it seems that lots of kids are becoming very opinionated over things they little understand (oh dear, must be getting old ) though the majority obviously see it as a good excuse to bunk off on a nice sunny day

Here's my guess. The kids' political idealism will evaporate on Saturday and Sunday and re-emerge first thing Monday morning.

There is a reason we have words like "children" and concepts like "growing up". And this bunch of little turds is reinforcing it. Anyone foolish enough to support kids bunking of school needs a kick in the arse.

I felt it necessary to voice my opinions to various sandal wearing student dimwits when I drove (noisly) past a ranting crowd near parliment on Monday.

Unfortunately, the police presence (along with a disapproving glare from the passenger seat) prevented me from parting the crowds by force.

nice one Dick, I agree, what is the point, we are all against war but a decision was made, our people are out there, lets make the best of it and rally round. Most of the peacenicks I saw on tv were laughing and having a great time, as you said, fcuk all else to do

****ing bastard lentil muchers were blocking Magdalen roundabout in Oxford this evening - was in a bit of a bad mood any way, so I left a gap in front of me to get a run up at the ****ers, but fortuneatly the coppers had hauled them off the road. Christ I was mad - would have bloody ran them over given half a chance. And there was a TV camera there as well. Cunts!!!!! The coppers should have just turned on some sprinklers - see how long the ****ers stay in the road when they're wet and shivering. Bastards!

Apparently there was a mini-riot of sorts opposite Lloyd's yesterday afternoon.

Mate of mine said it was most amusing they was construction workers, out of harm's way on their scaffolding, could ping things at the mob with pretty high accuracy.

Will have to hang around today and see if I can get my face on the news..."Hello Mum, Stop the War"!!!

I just found it odd, that the anti war protester, i.e. the peace brigaid, were using violence towards the police. Strange. Surly they should have been peaceful?
