Bikes Vs Cars hmmmmm not a bike man but quickly looking at specs on the R1 its not exactly slow, the Veyron mullars it! To be fair cost per bhp is another story but still.

The Veyron is so powerful that I doubt the bike could get the traction down to beat it, to 60, or 50, 40 or even 30?

Making a bike go quickly is so much more about the rider than the bike. Any fool can mash his foot to the carpet in a straight line.

To be honest, given that the Veyron has 1000hp, I'm actually astonished how good a job the R1 does of keeping up.

That was great! Nice that the Porsche showed some respect tucking in behind the Veyron - but cut the bike up a bit.....

I had a good play once on the A3 with my Murcielago and an unknown make motorbike. He didn't want to overtake me - just play. I have to say that I couldn't shake him off although he looked uncomfortable at certain speeds..... I eventually waved him past and he gave me the thumbs up as we both enjoyed the meeting. It's always great fun when respectful and safe spontaneous 'meetings' take place.

I also agree, it is great when you meet respectful and safe spontaneous peaple out there just to have some safe fast fun.

edit - not actually part two but it is longer and starts earlier. It starts with the R1 & CGT and they slow right down. Presumably the CGT driver knew the Bug would along soon.

edit2 - at 3:57 another bike gets involved and both cars come flying past. F. me they're fast!
