Why have it in you're boot. Whats the point if you have to get out of you're car to fumble around for it in the dark at which point you might be hit? Also, I think if you drive on the continent you have to have one in the car anyway.

Dammit, here's me thinking that when on the Contignent that I'd be opening my door on the side away from the traffic. Plus under seats are already full of fire extinguishers,maps, Marlboro, Rustlers etc.
However, thanks to your continental expertise I will definitely endeavour to "have one "in the car , would I need to pull over for this?
