While turning out the cupboards the other day I came across the press pack for the launch of the NSX and the full McLaren F1 brochure, together with the F1 lapel badge and Xmas card. All these in pristine condition in their envelopes. I have tons of other brochures of less a important nature but was wondering if anyone had any idea if these have much value at all. Hope you can help.

They almost certainly do have a value. Try searching for similiar items on Ebay to get a feel for their worth.

What year are they from? My son was born in 1995, and I have most brouchures from the motershow that year, in storage for him, but never saw a F1 though.

(I also do not have the Aston Martin one, but that is another story!)

I would imagine the F1 brouchure is worth a reasonable sum.

Looks like a good find.

Guy here sold an F1 brochure for £250 last year (post #21).

In my yuppie days I had a Ferrari and was a member of the FOC. When I saw the McLaren at the motor show I went on the stand and asked to put my name down for one. They sent me a full brochure (a work of art with wonderful illustrations and interleaving) and later an Xmas card with the F1 lapel badge. I doubt there were very many brochures made really but was curious. Thanks for the link anyway.

i have a large car brochure collection too, the most exclusive onse i'd say i have include a more recent NSX one in a cover, a few hardback Porsche brochures going back to the 993 series, original Maserati 3200GT (plus several maser range brochures/price lists going back a few years)several Morgan ones, TVR ones (i'd never give/sell those away though!) an MGSV first edition and a McMerc SLR brochure/price list combo. i have loads of other brochures for other more mainstream cars too, i have so many, collecting new ones has become a sort of an odd hobby for me now!

I would definitely be interested in buying an F1 brochure, although £250 sounds just a little crazy!!

I possess every brochure & price list on BMW's & mini for the last couple of generations & in mint condition. Also I have all the BMW/mini adverts on CD from the past few years. In fact I have amaseed quite a bit of BMW memorabilia. I have the Maclaren F1 poster in it's original frame (found it behind the pic of a E36RO Z3) so would think that's worth a couple of quid. Basically my thinking is that the entire collection of BMW/mini memorabilia would sell in the future for a reasonable price.

However, I do get fed up with joe-public who request brochures on every BMW/Mini from me so I just send the range brochure which only gives 1-2 pics of each model & is so much cheaper for the company. I have even put 'brochure collector' on their customer magic number so we don't waste time with them. I wander how much a Ferrari 350 GTO brochure would fetch scratchchin
