Few photos here from last weekends Rio Road Rally in the Scottish Highlands. In attendance were RPM Club members, Christian Koenigsegg and Victor Muller and Peter Van Rooy from Spyker who kindly bought a car all the way from Holland.

To top it all Christian Koenigsegg announced at the dinner at Glamis Castle that he will be making a world speed record attempt shortly, and invited all our club members to attend the attempt. Just need to find a track! biggrin

yes

As an aside - I was pretty sure the turquoise-green car in the top picture (line up) was an early Griff, where in later pics it turns out to be a Tuscan Mk2 convertible. That car would have continued the Griffmaera flame and taken it to reach new heights IMO if it weren't for the unfortunate environment it came to fruition in. That car is every inch as gorgeous as its spiritual predecessors.

wow, lol...good news, guess he felt good that day thenbiggrin
Maybe if he asks nicely they can use Nardo or the high speed VW course?
I saw the KE he brought with him was already RHD... so they make those too?

One of the funnier moments of the weekend was in St Andrews and a guest at the hotel was looking at the Koenigsegg as Christian was sitting inside it, the guest then asked Christian if the car was his, His response was "no it is actually a hire car", great guy with a great sense of humour.
