Silverstone Sunday Service Report
Silverstone was a success, so who’s up for the next one?
Thanks to all the pistonheads who turned up at Silverstone for an impromptu Sunday Service last weekend, making it such a memorable event. Go to www.pistonheads.tv/clip1330 and check out some of the highlights.
Hundreds of you turned up at our designated paddock parking with an impressive collection of metal. Everything was on display from TVR Tuscan 2 Convertibles to an Alpina B10, an R34 Skyline and a 1969 Ford Mustang Mach1. Don’t worry, we’re still trying to find the person responsible for bringing the Citroen Xsara Picasso….
Thanks and congratulations must also go to Team Damax Ascari. The fourth pistonheads fans forum took place in Team Damax’s garage just hours before the British GT race, giving us access to both the KZ1R and team drivers Ollie Bryant and Phil Keen. Ollie and Phil then went on to finish seventh, earning the team some vital points.
If all goes to plan, we should organise another similar meet for round nine of the British GT at Thruxton on the 26th August. Look forward to seeing you there.

What is this list that you talk about?
I was meant to be at Silverstone but my Saturday night went tits up and spent most of it at a hospital, so unfortunately I couldn't go and stitched up a mate.
But I'd love to go to the Thruxton one as it's only an hour down the road.
I'll keep checking back.
David
Im afraid i couldnt make it either, i was supposed to be bringing the invicta S1 600 but unforntunatly it had been double booked for the owners club meet so i was unable to attend, so i send my apologies. Il try and pull all the stops out to get the car up to the next event, and thruxton being so close it was be criminal not to!!
Ps. the blonde on the left of the "group photo" my god. wot a honey.
This often proves confusing to blokes in petrol stations that always come up and talk about it, and of course eagle eyed PH types!

I can only imagine the nightmare it will cause you when you come to sell it, that and the police thinking you're running false plates all the time!

I always carry my documents just in case the Police did take any interest. Other than that it only proves a minor annoyance when getting online insurance quotes and they insist that it must be a 996!
Got the date/round mixed up - round 14 sun 9th september
Planning on going any how added bonus if Ph have something organised
Also great to see my car on screen and if she's the one getting a mention in the piece above (unless there was another Mach 1 there), she's a '73, not a '69. But don't worry, you've just tripled her value!!
