I believe we should all support this guy - it's about time there was some public opposition and debate on this rather than that tw@t Milliband saying things like "the debate is over"

One of the many annoying adverts on the radio is a gritty urban sounding kid explaining "I'm Jordan and for the last 12 months I've been a 'climate change champion' I've visited melting glaciers....... blah ......blah.... to find out how you could be a climate change champion go to www.somethinggreen.blair.uk"

Every time I hear it I can't help thinking of some of the more millitant anti-environmentalists on here biggrin

They were discussing this on Jeremy Vines radio2 slot today.

They had a woman from the Green Party supporting the movie, saying it backed up the scientific view that man is causing GW, and only a few deniers didn't believe it. Unfortunately, the gent who was arguing against her was a bit of a tool.

That advert made me laugh. I am pleased that he flew to the glacier to help it melt a bit more.

No, another guest! Vine seems to be on Holiday. His stand in should be given his job!

Well done to him for standing up for himself, but I couldn't help chuckle at this:

This is indeed the view of the IPCC, and most of the world's climate scientists. But other people disagree.

One of them is Stewart Dimmock, 45, a lorry driver from Kent
Leading climate scientists have one opinion about the climate, and a lorry driver from Kent with an O level in Chemistry has another idea that proves them all wrong! Front page news that! hehe

I realise that climate scientists are funded by the government and it's all spin etc, but the way that was worded made me laugh smile

They knew what they were writing of course. BTW a few Years ago there were no such things a Climate Scientists - that's a term invented by politicians. Meteorologists, Geologists, Astronomers, etc yes, but not climate Scientists and if 2,000 names (a large proportion of whom are either not scientists at all or at best are extremely poltically motivated) constitutes a majority of Scientists in the World I'd be rather surprised. I think trhere a a few more than 2,000 Scientists in the World.

Oh that's nothing like as bad as the 3 mobile ones with June Sarpong (I think it's her....) the voice makes me want to feed her head first into a food mincer.

Back to topic, this guy deserves all the help he can get from the likes of us. And there IS something we can do - at least, those with kids can. And that is to see if your own children will be shown this film; if so, will it be offset (excuse the pun) with a view from an oponent of the view propogated in the film. It your child isn't being shown a balanced view then the head teacher, governers and LEA are potentially contravening Section 406(1)(b) of the Education Act 1996 says that local education authorities, school governing bodies and head teachers "shall forbid… the promotion of partisan political views in the teaching of any subject in the school".

We really shouldn't be taking this crap sitting down.

As I have no kids I am reading up on The New Party to see if THEY will do a better job of representing the rights of the likes of me without preaching half-baked claptrap as gospel in order to justify raising taxes.

I'm not surewhich is worse, Milliband the clueless, or Goldsmith the over-priveleged, preaching to us about green lies.
