***** My TVR Chimaera E1DJH was Stolen overnight ****
Discussion
Hi All,
Can you please keep your eyes open for my Blue TVR Chimaera E1 DJH
It was stolen from my locked garage in Crowthorne Berkshire overnight. Neighbours heard something at around 03:30, but didn't think much of it because i am often heading off for a hoon or tunnel run quite early (not in the week though). The bastids stole the keys from inside the house (I don't want to describe how on a public forum), and broke into the garage though a window.
So, they only have one set of keys, and no documents - buyers beware!
It is dark blue, magnolia hide interior. Has a PH sticker top centre of the windcreen, and another on the rear.
It has a distinctive number plate, and a very distinctive exhaust sound!
Speaking with the police this morning, there was a large number of car thefts in the Reading area last night.
Feel free to PM me with any sightings, i'll return your mail with my phone number

Many Thanks

Oh christ David!
So sorry to hear this
I hope you get it back in good shape - the b'stards...
Ian
Dont forget to put it here:
http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/gassing/topic.asp?h=0...
And also post it in the TVR Forums as a lot of TVR owners don't read General Gassing just the TVR forums and as we all acknowledge each other out on the road you might increase your chances of a quick recovery if it was taken for a joyride.

Bah. A Chim getting nicked is almost unheard of. There aren't many of them (relatively speaking) so its either dead, or it will turn up again.
Do you know how much fuel was in her? Might be worth checking the local garages to see if it was in recently, the police won't have the time to do that but maybe you can?

Shite sorry to hear that David. I had a Lexus taken the same way (i.e. got my keys from the house) a couple of years ago - funnily I had a Chim at the time and they took the keys to that to. Found the Lexus missing and the Chim unlocked but still there, I suspect the muppets couldn't work out how to open the doors once they had unlocked it. Shame your ones seem to have gen'd up
