Roma-Italia 2008 Sportscar Challenge 15–19 September
The Guild of Motoring Endurance Sportscar Challenge will be heading for Italy in September 2008. A more tortuous and demanding five day test for sportscars would be difficult to find. The start will be from Digne-les-Bains in the Provence Alps. Then over many notorious Alpine passes together with numerous rally stages above Monte Carlo and San Remo. On through Liguria into the Italian Appennines and to the finish in Rome.
If you own a hand built sportscar, whether a classic (pre-catalyst) car like a Porsche 911e, a component car like a Caterham Seven, or a production (non-steel bodied) specialist sportscar like a Lotus Elise or a Morgan, and you want something a bit more challenging than a tour, then fill in an entry form, £650 pp including five nights b&b in hotels. carolbury@hotmail.co.uk

2500kms over five days on demanding French and Italian mountain roads. It's a great challenge for sportscars. Included for the £650 entry fee is a navigational Road Book. A team of marshalls manning the many controls, and five nights in lovely hotels. Plus a few trophies for those that do well. Go to http://www.guildofmotorendurance.co.uk and fill in an entry form now.
Are you thinking of taking part in the Roma-Italia 2008 but don't have a navigator?
Dave Miller is available and can be contacted on: Tel 01782 618923 or Mob 07734 936899.
There is a place for one more car.
Contact carolbury@hotmail.co.uk if you have any questions.

Hi Dan, that's an impressive looking Fury you have there.
In reply to your question, sorry no, the Roma-Italia 2008 isn't going near Lombardia.
