Just got an email from my Dad saying his golfing buddy (who used to be a car dealer) has got a H reg M5, and I can have it for nothing.
THAT'S RIGHT....zip, ziltch, nadda, f*ck all.
.......of course, there is a catch - it has an engine overheating problem!
Now, I was not born yesterday and can work out that if he is giving the car away for nothing it's probably not going to be in the best of nick but for nothing I'm going to give it a look and then can always sell for spares or just scrap it!
My question is about the engine problem. Knowing nothing about classic M5's is there anything that anyone knows of that these engines are known for?

But only last week, I was told my by my wife to be more charitous, I will therefore, give you £10 for it but only if you deliver it to me.
1st it's a BMW 535i not an M5.
Get it checked out could just be a new radiator and hoses so a few £100's could cure it. Also quite a rare beat that you could do up respectfully.
E34 parts still stocked by BMW dealer franshises. You will get discount. It's not quite yet in Mobile Tradition!

that's the second BMW product knowledge mistake I've made in 2 weeks. FFS.HD92 Build E34Li M5 does exist but I doubt it's really an M5.
