PH Picture Of The Week
PistonHeads, desktops matter
Time to get serious. No excuses, no apologies and no reasons for posting this week's wallpaper- it just floats our boat and it is pure PistonHeads art.
Download, enjoy and spend the rest of the day reminiscing about how happy we all were when this car was launched. They don't make them like this anymore.

Nice, but I'm going to stick with last weeks one for now - it really is amazing.
Cheers guys, would say there's a brown envelope with used notes on the way to you but this photography stuff doesn't pay
I like this weeks pic though and as this appears to be a regular thing I too reckon there should be a pic of the week archive.

Well, I used to have a TVR 350i in the UK and it was a stunner indeed. I will probably get a late model TVR for use in the UK on biz trips ..
I had a 1989 Corvette here in Texas until 2 days ago when I picked up this beauty for a song ($19,000). The Corvette has truly "come of age".. performance, comfort and reliability can now be synonymoius with the name.
Don't knock 'em until you've tried 'em...

Thanks for the wallpapers!

The picture is good, but could be better. For a sideways shot it lacks drama - for all most would know the car could have been parked at an angle on that corner. The shutter speed is too fast and has frozen the car. I can see why the snapper has gone for that shot (it's a standard Autocar shot - nothing wrong with that), as he has placed himself at the exit of the corner, with a set focal length (probably a fixed lens) and done the business as the driver as thrown it sideways a few times. Had he placed himself on the inside of the bend, about the opposite of the road of where he currently is, he could have panned the lens with the way the car was going, got it going sideways and blurred the background with it.
But then, what do I know.
