PH Picture Of The Week
PistonHeads jumps back in time for this week's picture
It only takes a few years for cars to look dated, but when you look at this pic of a Lotus Esprit it is difficult to believe its design is now 20 years old.
I guess great design doesn't go out of date and one of the best-looking Esprits is arguably the V8, which was also one of the last.
Let's hope its long-awaited successor looks just as good when it arrives in two years time.

Thats cause you live in a hot climate ? try one on our Hole'y,Salty,Mucky,Dirty,Stinking, unmaintained roads in the UK and you would have scrapped it long ago ?
Good going though keep it up Tex.
I'd rather have a Corvette if I were where you are.

I like mine! I've had it for 8 years now.
I'm always getting compliments for it, and people often come up to ask questions about it.
Totally not a sleeper though! ?
Arguably I think the 89SE is better than the V8
Here's mine

Nice colour and best size spoiler too. My dad had one of the first ones when they came out in 89 when he was a dealer, he went to Millbrook to pick it up i remember the first time my brothers and i went out in it, it was bloody awesome!!!I'm always getting compliments for it, and people often come up to ask questions about it.
