Sorry for double posting this, I meant to put it in here instead,

I need everyones help please.

Thruxton last weekend saw the climax of the Seat Cupra Championship, unfortunately for a very good friend of mine it ended in qualifying with a very unpleaseant accident flat out in sixth gear which left him upside down. Ben Winrow started this championship at just 17 and has just turned 18 - the youngest driver in it. Last season he won the Caterham challenge before passing his driving test. There is a superprix at Brands in September shown on racing rivals on itv and the public get to vote who goes on pole position.

From one motorsport nut to another please help this lad who has loads of talent. Please go to www.seatcuprachampionship.com a pop up box will then say your vote decideds - click on this and it says you need to register at the cupra paddock - do this and then it comes up with a list of drivers to vote for. VOTE BEN WINROW........

I know this will take a couple of minutes to do and I appreciate everyones help for those who do it.

Put Ben Winrow on pole position please and thank you.

I'll put a vote down. Is he one of the ones with punt-everyone-off-itis?

Winrow is one of the clean drivers in the championship, and prefers to drive round everyone else swapping paint.

I think Spencer and Ben are friends in the series anyway so vote for Ben as well

1st, 2nd ,there close enough

oh yes, there good mates and Spencer (and Pickford) was helping Ben during Testing at Thruxton to get some quick lines. Ben's a good tip for future racing. Was impressed with him in the Acadamy last year.

Still need to vote for Spencer! If you've got say more than 10 email address' then the odd one to Ben wont hurt

hee hee, no I think it might have been James PIckford's lines

I was at the Test and Spencer did some laps in front of Ben and then Spencer dropped back and Ben lead some laps. James was there as well and then after the session they debriefed.

Did here Stefan mention that he tried going flat through Church (well I think it was) on one lap and was right on the limit. Maybe Ben heard that

what caused the accident? Pic in Motorsport News yesterday, looked well smashed up. I know quite a few drivers were worried about tyre wear and loading in testing and IIRC Hodgetts and Huff got punctures around the back of the circuit

VOTE SPENCER!

Andy, I see you do some livery work, how about reproducing it? And just out of curiosity, how much do you reckon it would cost to do an Integrale in full 1990 16v group A livery

reproducing what?

I design liveries, but I dont (normally) get the stickers cut etc. Are you looking for a Martini replica livery, or something new.

Email me with details. If its just stickers, I have a couple of contacts who could help

I think he said he was just pushing hard. He was doing well in qualifying at the time, I have alot of faith in him doing well.

You have to push to go faster...

They found the driveshaft in a field, the other one was all that was holding the engine in.

Still Ben's ok, after all you can fix a car.

It would be the full group A Martini livery with all sponsors.

well I should have/ be able to obtain/draw up logos, which can then be passed onto a sticker shop (probably local to you) so they can cut them.

Mind you, I'm only willing to do this if you vote for you know who (and not Ben )

Ben's a nice lad, he's said some daft things to the camera but I guess we all would in his position, he did apologise to his dad after he's smacked the spare car at Rockingham. Hope he's feeling better after his exploits at Thruxton.
