recognise the description of a scene from a film?

the other night as I was dropping off to snooze, I was thinking of this one particular scene from a film and it's driving me mad trying to remember the name of the movie.
It's a scene in a hospital corridor and one of the characters (can't remember if they are male or female) is walking down the corridor when three nuns float towards and past them. Very creepy, but can't remember if the film is a horror, a thriller or what.
As far as I can recall the character walking down the corridor may be on their way to visit a sick or dying relative/partner in the hospital, so the nuns might well be some sort of vision.
I'm looking on the Internet Movie Database but so far haven't found anything....

I know the one you mean
The nuns arent ghosts but they float along the floor. But I can't think which film.....Twelve Monkeys maybe?

Are you sure - 8mm is about porno/snuff/missing girlies goings on that PI Nic Cage investigates after being given the task to determine the origin of a video tape found in a safe at some posh old dears house. seen it a few times but can't remember floating nuns. Also stars Joachim Phoenix...IIRC
