Range Rover drivers have taken over from White Van Man as the worst motorists, according to cyclists.
Third in the poll were BMW drivers, described as "smug" with a tendency to weave in and out of traffic.

Elderly people were fourth, being seen by cyclists as "too slow" and not paying attention.
Cyclists questioned by a poll by www.50cycles.com placed "all 4x4 drivers" in fifth place due to their "road rage and reckless driving", while "red cars" came sixth, being criticised for "overtaking on corners".
Four in five of the 2,000 cyclists surveyed said they felt vulnerable and in danger when riding on the road, and 68% often resorted to riding on the pavements to avoid bad drivers.
Nearly half (48%) worried most about navigating roundabouts, while the other main concerns were blind bends and the approach to junctions.
Scott Snaith, spokesman at 50cycles.com, said: "Our customers are now reporting a definite reduction of road traffic on the roads and a gradual increase of spotting electric cycles instead.
"The startling figures in this poll should gradually improve as the roads become less crowded and motorists become more aware of all cyclists."

you gotta laugh when they are judging and rating drivers into categories by traits that nearly every cyclist could tick the complete list on.I drive my Range Rover in Oxford (with more bicyclists than you can shake a stick at) everyday and the road skills of cyclists IN GENERAL is a f
king outrage.
I've lost count of the number of times I've had to stop at a roundabout because some dozy sandal waering beardy has ridden straight accross my path from the left.
This is normally followed by a mouthful of abuse from said cyclist until the dozy
realises that they are in the wrong.
They really don't do themselves any favours do they? I vote for immediate registration scheme and 3rd party insurance for all push bikes.
Anyway, as for the Range Rover thing... jealousy and nothing else.

Shock! One group of road users complains about another!
You get lots of idiots on the roads of the UK, some are drivers, some riders (motorbike, horse, bicycle) and some are pedestrians. All idiots believe they are in the right and everyone loves a good generalisation. If you always assume the road users around you are idiots, you can usually make decent, safe progress with the minimum of fuss.

Indeed. Unfortunately if you (or someone else) gets it wrong and you are in an accident, you're rather less likely to come out of it safely if you're in the "rider" or "pedestrian" category than if you're a car driver so they moan more. very well said, short but succinct. a cock is a cock, doesnt matter what form of transport you put him in....You get lots of idiots on the roads of the UK, some are drivers, some riders (motorbike, horse, bicycle) and some are pedestrians.
