Got plastered round town the night before last and i think it must have fallen out of my pocket (photocard style). If someone has picked it up what are the chances of them handing it in somewhere? If it was me id go round to the persons house and give it back (like most people would) but i havent heard from anyone yet. Also can it be used for fraud? as it has my full name, DOB and address on it.

cheers

Errr I'm sure if someone found it, they would ring the dvla, well that's what I would do. Regardless, you need to ring the dvla anyway!

I lost mine and it took the DVLA 4 months to finally send it to the right address, good luck!

I rang numerous times and they had no record of my call. rolleyes

I use mine for ID - easier than carrying my passport around with me!

I lost my front door key on the wall next to the man made beach in Cubjac, near Perigueux, Dordogne, France the other week. If anyone is passing by please pick it up for me. Cheers.

I'm getting a bit cold sitting on the doorstep now.

I lost my wallet a while back with everything in it.

A nice guy at Motor Bike learning centre persevered in finding me, even though i moved and gave it back to me 6 months later. Top man.bowbeer

Some people might ATTEMPT to use it in a fraud so you are right to be concerned. Wait until ID cards come out. It will probably be a criminal offence to LOSE your ID card.

Thought you'd been banned then, my eyes popped out when I saw the 'I got plastered' bit.
