Absolutely no idea.

One kit car manufacturer (don't think they exist any more) produced this

As a replica of this.....

And it was based on a Metro! rofl

Nah... the people who dreamt up that ugly mess ceased trading in 2004..... thank god they did, otherwise they probably would have tried to convert a Metro into a Veyron......

Despite its a blatant mini rip-off.. I think that one looks quite cute.

Unlike the other ones on the thread..

To be fair that thing's in a different league from a fiberglassed up Metro. It has a proper mid mounted Lexus V8 and seems to use a mix of 300ZX and Porsche 911 running gear. I bet it's proper quick and I'd have one any day of the week. The 'Aston' or the banhams not so much...

From the show write up where I came across this car:

The same holds true for the IMC Sports Cars IMC408F1, which can go from 0 to 60 MPH in 3.8 seconds. With a top speed of 161 mph, this 2-seater is a road worthy racecar and has a rear engine, transaxle, open cockpit, and is powered by V8.
