Did it when I was at Uni, in City and Guilds College's (part of Imperial College) 1902 James and Browne.
It should still be running this year, tradition was for the Pres, Vice-Pres and Hon-Sec to skinny dip at the end. Great one of the years I was in as 2 were women... ;-) (though one was a bit of a moose...)

Hi, Yes it's my car. Not many dry runs, last year was dry and sunny and warm, previous two years very wet. So must be due another wet run now. Mind it is November.
Have fun! I go to watch most years, it must be fantastic actually taking part. Any photos of your car?Bee_Jay said:

Still on the run every year. Stripped blazers etc. Didn't know about the skinny dipping though! Must look out for that. Hi there O&W.
I am very excited as I too will be on the run this weekend as a passenger in a 1904 Cadillac (tonnaeu). It will be my first ever involvement and am just hoping that the rain holds off! I have noted your entrant number and will introduce myself if time permits. I will be in no.551 - my friend purchased the car earlier in the year and wasn't sure he would get the entry forms lodged in time - looks like he was one of the last entrants! I am delighted for him as he is an absolute car nut.
John
Hi John,
I will be in sector 16, so we all have plenty of time before the 'off'. I would advise getting there early though, as the closer you can get to the front of your sector the better.
The ideal is to get there early, park the auto, queue for the bacon butty and coffee, then...wait...walk up and down a bit....and wait.....then queue for the toilets, taking pictures of the other cars.......then....wait and wait...then the 3 minute boards arrive, then you wish you had queued for the toilets again. When you eventually get on the 'run' wave..and wave.. and wave again. It will be cold, without a doubt. 60 miles in the open. When (no if) you get to Brighton, wave again, the tears may flow, it is very emotional and fulfilling. Have fun. See you there then.
