Company Car Suggestions
Discussion
Hi Folks,
I need to swap my company car so I'm looking at some alternatives.
I'm currently driving an A4 3.2 Quattro but my boss is telling me I'm not to get a 'gass guzzler' next time
Currently looking at
Audi A4 2.0T S-Line
BMW 320i M Sport
Audi is more powerful and also what I'm used to but BMW is lower CO2 so lower tax and its rear wheel drive
So, any comments?
Thanks
Paul

I've got a company car and would love to be able to get out of it somehow, happy with the car but the cash would be more useful elsewhere.
If opting out doesn't suit you for whatevever reason then I'd get the Beemer, I used to prefer Audi's but the low company car running costs of a BMW is too attractive.
...but as others have said... opt out if you can (and it suits)

Lexus is250 sport.... Much better spec than the BMW and beter looking than the Audi, likes a drink though...
Its a nice car to be in and look at, good value for money and it has a good diesel engine but thats as far as I would go. The drive is no where near as good as its german rivals, nor is the fuel economy and its cramped in the rear with a small boot.
Of the two cars the OP has listed I would choose the 2.0T A4, the latest version with 211bhp and 350nm is a fantastic engine and gives you all the petrol and diesel advantages in one. The BMW 320i is 40bhp down on the audi althogh to be fair its got a very impressive power output for a 2.0 N/A petrol and has a better drive.

Thanks for all the feedback folks.
Cash option isn't really a good alternative.
My boss doesn't approch things in an ordely way and the cash alternative was rubbish (5k)
The 'Allowance' was 'Something that is cheaper than the A4 3.2 Quattro'
Its nice working for a boss thats that flexable sometimes but its a real pain when you want to get a proper scope on things as he is like this with everything!
Anyway, had a drive in BMW. Obviously its not as fast as the 3.2 Audi (Well Durr!) but it was a nicer drive. Seemed to have more room than the A4 as well.
CO2 emmitions are an issue and the BMW is better.
Petrol options only though as I can't stand deisel.
Thanks again for all the feedback
