I just want to let you all know that I plan on getting answers from some of the dumbest people in the world (oblivious drivers). You know all the things that piss us off such as;
- Driving 45 in the wrong lane
- Taking forever to make a turn into a lot
- Blatantly blowing red lights
Well, I am a curious person, and I need to know certain things, in this case I will be following the person who performs such idiocy and then jamming a camera in their face so I can put it on youtube for you all to see, and I will ask them very simply:
"Please sir, were doing random interviews on people such as yourself. My question to you is simple, and I expect an honest answer. In the last 20 minutes of you driving in the wrong lane at 45mph, did you OR did you not take a moment to notice the endless miles of held up vehicles behind you? Did it ever occur to you to peek once every mile atleast in the rear view mirror? Are you aware that YOU are the problem holding up all this traffic during rush hour? When people are honking at you, cutting you off, riding your ass, flicking you the finger and coming up on you at high rates of speed, does it ever register in your brain that maybe, just maybe you should move to the correct lane OR PICK UP SPEED? I want to know!! I want to know whats going through your head GODDAMNIT!! please, tell me"
I am expecting 4 likely responses, followed by my conclusion.
1. Why no sir, I was unaware that I was the cause of such congestion. I never look in my mirror. I just stare straight ahead like a robot, with no thought process, just a small voice in my head that repeats over and over again: "Driving home>driving home>driving home>driving home...etc"
if #1 is the case, then I will say to them what most of us here are probably really thinking but too worried to say, which is: THEN YOU ARE AN IDIOT. A COMPLETE MORON. A PATHETIC EXCUSE FOR A HUMAN BEING. And if you cant drive and determine that you are the problem, then what can you do? what good are you? what can you possibly offer society if you cannot adhere to such a simple yet COURTEOUS universal law then you should be either shot or not allowed to drive.
2. I knew what was going on. I knew I should move, but why should I? let everyone else go around me. Its not my problem.

of course #3 is the one I am expecting most. But its like telemarketing or hitting on girls in a club, if you ask 100 of them and you get just one response, well hey, atleast your getting laid!
or #4, they dont hear or see me. I have had this happen several times where I pulled up to a light and tried to get their attention so I could tell them how unbelievably useless they are behind a wheel, and they dont even realize I am there. They just stare straightforward, completely erect, both hands on the wheel. idiots.
I know what your all thinking. I am going to get killed. but come on, I really need to know whats going through their heads when there is miles of traffic behind them and they see people honking, swerving, breaking, etc and they just sit there.

I cannot stand it when people do this. Had one such ahole do this to me today in a Daewoo Matiz. 30mph in a 60, which slowly, and I mean slowly in such a way that I could have shaved my pubic hair clean off, and by the time it happened the hair would actaully be longer than when I started sort of slowly, he got it up to 40mph. There was finally a bit of straight clear road, so I went for it (in the one litre Fiat) and the fker decides "that Fiat is no longer in my rear view mirror, I shall speed up". Cue cursing and smacking the steering wheel from me as a car comes round the nearest corner really giving it some so I have to back off. Eventually I turned off and went home the long way, a nice twisty B road. Which sounded brilliant, but I haven't long forked out £130 for some new Pirelli's for the front.

I can relate. My daily driver is a Hyundai. I drive many miles to get to work and so it is the perfect car for such. However you can floor it and makes alot of noise but goes nowhere. I think its a 1.6 liter. That would require them to be very tall and have a very large mouth. . . . . .
I had a 'moment' in Tesco's carpark the other day. I had spotted a parking space and was making my way there when the bloke parked next to the empty space finished packing his car and dumped his trolley in the spare space.
For some reason I saw red mist and accelerated towards the space before slamming on the brakes behind his car, blocking him in. I got out and shouted through the window something along the lines of "ARE YOU JUST GOING TO F*CKING LEAVE THAT THERE?", to which I got the reply "Yeah". Even as a car lover I was tempted to ram the trolley into the side of his of his A-Class, showing him the damage that could have been inflicted to someones car had they reversed into it not realising some LAZY PR*CK hadn't bothered to put it into the trolley park 8 spaces up.
I think I just ended up shouting something about people having no f*cking consideration for others, and that I'd put the trolley back for him (with a few more Fings thrown in for good measure).
I now wish I had calmly moved the trolley directly behind their car then sat back and watched them have to get out and move it, maybe giving them some moral support and encouragement to walk all the way to the trolley park. But you only ever think of these things after don't you.
