Friend of mine just rang to see if I was in Saturday, as he wants to go look at a car near me.
Bentley Continental Turbo £41,000!
Is he bonkers or something?
How do I stop him?
He already has a Merc SL500, a 380SL, a G-wagon 500 and had just sold a Pagoda 230SL that he totally restored!
At least he is getting over his Merc thing at last!
Or should I just say "Get it" and enjoy?

Trouble is he is a bit of an compulsive obsessive must have sort of person.
I keep telling him to pay off the mortgage (his wife pays it!) and he has said he will with the proceeds of the Pagoda sale.

A month ago he was telling me he had to shut up his business and make his lads redundant, but the "Crunch" seems to be getting him more work a the moment.
When he is up, he is very up and when down very down and keeps going by buying all these toys!

No but he sort of looks to me as a brother figure I think.So we are good friends, and as such I think sometimes friends should say no!
Sometimes he listens and calms down others he don't.
They have no kids but THREE boats in Italy!
