Buying another run around

Looking for another run around. Need it prety urgently too. Is 500 quid too much to pay for an R reg mondeo in decent condition? Car seems like it's in good nick though.

I'd say it was dear, but if it a genuine car then it sounds fair enough - just check for clocking, crash damage as most have been repped / taxied to death

130K on clcok. He says its been looked after but id say 350 is a bit more sensible.

Im doing the same tomorrow for the missus, need as low miles as poss, £1500, not to big or too thirsty (ie no more than 1.8 petrol, 1.9TD) am thinking 306's are the weay forward?

i just picked up an audi a4 1.9 tdi, 1999, 110k miles, fsh, £1500, its mint

Tax and test is probably significant regarding value as is the state of other consumables.

4 nearly new tyres, recentish service, full MOT and over 6 months tax would see almost anything worth 500 quid.

2months tax, MOT'd until july. 130k on clock. recent timing belt...

1.8l too. not sure what to do.

Unless the car was super clean and in great condition why would you need to? So many other cars to choose from. It's a buyers market.
