Anyone else on the M6?

We're southbound between J18 and J17 / Sandbach. Bumper to bumper, drizzle and its closed between 10 and 11. HoHum I hate M-Ways! Almost as much as going to see the family!!!

How jammed up is it? My sons just left Southport for Nottingham. Perhaps he would be better going over the M62 way.

I would like to have replied but my laptop battery died. It wasn't too bad and the toll road was clear so we made good time to B'ham.

Just got back. The M6 northbound has been virtually empty. Much evidence of marked and unmarked police cars pulling the hypersonics. Kept it below 90 leptons though just in case.
