All day on Discovery Turbo, the misus is going to be very annoyed, Quick question though, just watched the one with he Porsche. At the end when the buyer comes to view the car, do you think that is all an act, he seems to get what he wants for the car all the time, just the body language of the buyer too. Also things look better on camera, Do you think they really will be that gleaming.

I've noticed this too - the buyer always looks quite tense and almost robotic.

But then again, I would be if I'd gone to buy a car and had a camera shoved in my face.

just before the buyer is show, and he says how much the car owes him, to how much he can get, then to how much he wants, When they haggle it always seems to go into a pattern to which he gets what he wants too

Most of the cars aren't 'sold' on the show, they turn up on eBay, being sold by Edd's 'mechanic mate, Paul'. Many sell at a significant loss.

The only bit worth watching is the actual Ed China mechanical stuff. The Mike bits (buying, the 'test drive' of another similar car, the 'is this all you've done to it Ed?' bits then the selling bit at the end) are all utter rubbish.

Best to Sky+ it then FFWD through all those bits.

A lot of the 'buyers' are just people rustled up locally, look interested & get on telly..

There was supposed to be a new series on Disc real time called wheeler dealers on the road. In the preview advert there were a number of cars featured including an old merc sl etc however they appeared to onlt do one episode and then it never came on again? Can anyone enlighten me as to what happened or when its on?
