I would SERIOUSLY consider doing this - and I can't even ride a fckin bike !! I am JC's brother (younger).

Spent a month in Thailand and Cambodia at the beginning of the year and really wanted to go to Vietnam as well but not enough time.

3rd post suggests we won't be able to ride a bike though ??

They are. They're just a lot hotter on needing an international license than Thailand (where you just have to surrender your passport).

IIRC no bikes larger than 200cc or so are allowed in the country.

In Asia, 'Might is right' so bikes are a long way down the pecking order and have to give way to everything.

If this is going to happen, i may aswell atleast give it some thought first.
I'm not so sure on their menu of fine dining, after all, i don't think i really fancy finding myself eating a platefull of dogs scrote come breakfast time.

Agreed, the food is the only aspect of Vietnam i don't think i could cope with!, we'd need to sort out some kind of catering before i sign up
