ROOF DOWN IN THE MINUS CONDITIONS, MAD OR NOT?

Whilst driving to my office today, I saw a guy driving an MX-5 convertible, quite an old model with his roof down, has anyone else seen/ carried out an act of insanity such as this? Bearing in mind is was MINUS 2.5 DEGREES AT THE TIME haha!

Of course - what is the point having a convertible if the roof is up all the time?

Roof down, heater on and it is quite warm enough especially with heated seats.

What's wrong with that. I love getting the roof off in this wort of weather. As long as it's dry and sunny it's great.

As long as its not raining the roof should be down. If you have a canvas hood it should bloody well be retracted!

My missus almost murdered me when I drove roof down when the temperature was 17 degrees back in August, thats with heated seats, this MX-5 surely didn't have heated seats

Only have the roof up is if it's raining (has to be heavy rain though )

Roof's always down unless it's pissing with rain- why have a mid life crisis if you aint going to make the most of it.

heating system, hot seats and sound system are top notch in the car for this reason alone- IMHO

Still got to get the road dirt out of the Tiv from my 03:30 jaunt down the M11 to TiTT3. Cold, wet but perversely enjoyable too

How effective are the air scarfs? Thats the only extra I don't have on my SL55?

Yeah roof was always down when it was dry when I had my convirtibles

Coat zipped up, heaters on
