Well, to be fair I am in Moscow, but it has just started snowing, which is nice, and more than makes up for still being in work at half eleven.

Five more months of snow left. Hurrah.

Wonder what it would be like trying to drive a TVR out here, given how bad the roads are and the snow can lie four feet deep? Mind you, saw a 360 the other day.

Oh, and could someone please move this to general gassing to save me from my own stupidity?

It's not snowing in Derby either*...but it was snowing in Buxton earlier on

*Which is a shame, as it would make it slightly less f_ing dull

Beyond belief Mrs F. I am trying to get a 100 page loan agreement done with my trusty assistants and it is driving me to tears. Have been working on it for 3 weeks and it is still in draft. Yawn.

On a more interesting note, in a couple of weeks time they will be covering all the paths in Gorky Park with water and turning it into a makeshift ice rink for the winter.

Also, the number of cars you see round here being followed by 4x4s with blacked out windows is quite interesting. These 4x4s usually contain armed security details to support the guys in the car in front who are protecting their principal. You don't mess apparently.

And if you think the roads in London are bad you should see it here. Mind you, there is a road not far from my office which I suppose is pretty much city centre, which has 8 lanes in each direction and not a bus lane in sight. Very cool.

True enough, they are mostly members of the Blue Rinse brigade where I am, and they are all in bed by 7.30....

We get the odd bit of tumbleweed blowing down the lane every now and again......

A mate who lives round the corner sat his 16 month old daughter in the window and said "Come on Grace, lets see what's going on...."

After ten minutes, all they had seen was one learner driver kangeroo past......

"Fook all" he said......
