Single. Point. Of. Reference.
I’m 25, very; very busy with work, had limited motor craft input from elders whilst I grew up. (Mainly due to my Dad being away in the army) All things Engines and cars etcetera is self taught.... I am a subscriber to Evo, used to me a MINI nut (old skool mind!) I keep current with all things technical, even if the complex issues pass me by... I log and store fundamental principals... I’ve rebuilt one engine myself but been involved in 3 or more...
I find myself grazing websites for “tit bits” of information. 15 months ago I had a eureka moment when I found Pistonheads. Now things have changed... not me, but perhaps the lustre...
I’m not looking for technical papers, I’m not looking for 17 pages of debate about 1.7/1.5 rocker lifts. It just feels like Pistonheads is over subscribed and full of pointless opinion/ chatter. I try not to get involved; but it’s hard not to get involved with the banter when it’s just all sh!ite.
Anyhow I am like Led Zep doing a bit of a “Ramble On....”
What’s your Single Point of Reference? Where do you go for your motor virtually oily fix...... Help me find something more pure.....
Sorry PH I do love your diversity... just need a bit more ....

t and flaming, jumping on minor irrelevant points due to boredom at work/home and or a lack of anything more enriching in life.
Maybe hit the make/country of origin specific forums for a more sensible/informed response to your less generic questions?
