didn't read the whole of your OP, just the gist, but think you will need to give more detail as well for a proper punt. Engine, mileage, history seemed to be missing iirc.

03 = 5yrs+
Vectra = common as muck fleet

4/5ths of fk all as a rough guide, even with a lowish mileage.

Whats the problem with them? Easy to ignore if you aren't interested, and a reasonable question sometimes.

What the problem with them?
It gives people An idea of wht they should be looking to pay/realise for cars, I thought this site was suppsed to be about getting advice from more knowledgeable people

Well when there are so many of them (which there will be if everyone decides it's the easy and lazy way to get a value) they push the interesting discussions down the board and people will miss good topics.

I've yet to see a "reasonable" one. Fair enough if they were for some hard to value leftfield choice but they are always for ROTM stuff.

Incidentally I read them in case they are interesting, for example someone selling a pristine delivery miles RS500 might have a genuine need for help as you can't exactly flick through the classifieds and find a comparable.

Have to say I've not noticed any more than usual, certainly not enough to cause any irritation. More often amusement...

And to be fair, it is about cars they ask, and this is (mostly) a car forum
