Anyone know of a good place to set a speed test on a car/bike?

I was thinking of trying to top out a bike I am getting V soon to see 'just what it can do' in a save place i.e. no cars, peds, or scameras.

now I dont know the names of the places but I remember 5th gear doing a bit on a rolls? round a speed bowl.

anyone know the name of the place and how much would it cost to go round it? if you can?

and other places like that other than the autoban as I dont really want to go to germany just to try and get 180+ out of a bike.

also, whats the top speed's you have been and in what?

I've had 150 on a track on a CBR6

Are high speed bowls bad for tyres on cars as one side is constantly trying to travel a bit futher than the other?

Bikes obv not affected.

The A3 in Portsmouth. No speed cameras, and quiet at times.
I almost topped out my 911 there*

Staple Corner to Junction 1 of M1 looks fairly suitable for a Vmax run

M55 is a runway in disguise.

nono I got caught doing a measly 105mph there. Plod said he sits in the same place with his scamera and nicks loads of us. Got a 6 week ban from the
judge (well Magistrates)
