brilliant vid, bet he was sick of the sight of that pork by the end of the lap though.

Some pretty wild overtakes on some pretty mild cars, strange to see but amazing to watch smile

If he'd have stayed ahead of the Porsche he would have pulled a significant gap I'm sure. The Porsche did seem slow through the bends.

And why wasn't the Viper driver heel and toeing!? ARGH!

That was ace! Nearly st myself for some of the drivers there hehe It'd be like watching a race but from inside my Fiesta as I'm driving along.

ETA: I reckon the Porsche was holding the Viper up at some points.

Interesting to see the 911 take a deeper line into the corners, presumably it can hold tighter on the way out with its engine outback traction, wherewas the viper is more of a classic smooth racing line.

The Viper lifted for a yellow flag on Dottinger Hohe just before Antoniusbuche.

I disagree. I think it would have been the same if the Viper was in front. He had a very good run on the long straight but still couldnt lose the RS. When the Viper was stuck behind trafic the RS built up a small lead but then lost it on the longer stretches when the Viper closed the gap.

Perfect stalemete with those cars. One quicker in the twisties and the other faster on the straights.

Awesome driving by both guys.

The Porsche looked slower on 90% of the circuit.

And he wont thank the Gallardo driver for his assistance!

As said, why no heel/toe? Amazed at some of the long periods of relative silence mid corner, although with the amount of traffic around and the pesky porker, I doubt maximum attack is an option and he'd have to coast some of it while waiting for clear track.

Good vid.

If the Porsche really was quicker through the twisties then why was the Viper still about a foot from its arse most of the time through corners.

Fantastic driving! I was surprised by how much speed the porker could carry going high on the karussell. Whenever i've been pushed up there on the bike i've found the surface to be pretty dodgy.

Pow!
