If your coming from the north, you could try the streets around Bounds Green underground.

Why not just take a train from Lime Street? no hassle, almost as cheap if you book in advance, normaly as quick if not quicker and you know that a shandy drinking southern poof isnt going to steal your wheels\stereo biggrin

We only decided to go today when we got offered tickets, would have booked in advance if we had known earlier but we're going on Friday and the train is about £75 now yikes I'd rather drive!

From Liverpool you're gonna pay that in fuel anyway, unless you've got some 1 litre abomination, in wich case I wouldn't wanna drive full stop.

Took the kids to watch peter pan in london a few weeks ago, travelled from further north than liverpool with me, the missus and three kids. Used a travel card to buy the tickets, but shopped carefully and made ONE change at Warrington rather than go direct that saved forty quid. It took about 2 hours including the change over, don't think I'll ever drive to London with work or family ever again. It was effortless.

See you there! I'm off from Leeds on Friday - will probably park outside congestion zone somewhere west of the BBC and get the tube in.

While I won't take responsibility for it (clealy!) you are more than welcome to park outside my place in Bedford. Not that far into London and trains run to Oh My God o'clock, while the street has free parking.

Park in St Albans and catch Thameslink into London. Change onto the tube at West Hampstead and you will be at Bond Street with an hour door to door. Bond Street to Hyde Park, ten minutes on foot.

Bad idea - almost anywhere but Watford.

This might not suit you, but I often park in the underground car park at Euston. That way, even if I miss the last tube/train, I can always walk/taxi to Euston from anywhere in Central London without too much hassle.

Cost is a bit steep, at around £22 for the day.

Alternatively, there's an underground car park on Park Lane, which is pretty much exactly where you need to be. Similar price to the Euston one, at £20 something for a day.

If there's a few of you, by the time you've bought tube tickets, you've spent nearly that much anyway.
