thanks - it is, we think it was targeted as it was taken from a rural area and it was always under cover (in fact they took the cover with it). Because the engine is so loud we also think they had a trailer (or they would have heard it half a mile away).

going to keep an eye on Ebay too.

Sorry to hear it's been nicked. I know the car (and the chap who owns it) as it is very, VERY distinctive and used to be parked in my work's car park on a daily basis.

If I see it I'll be sure to report it. Post back when it is found.

I added it to the stolen car wiki.

Still waiting on insurance for my integra so I know how gutting this all is. String them up until they are dead imo.

It'll be going to Ireland I would imagine, a lot of the old skool fords are used in rallying out there and parts are really difficult to come by now.

thanks everyone, yep they think it's been taken off for banger racing as the prize money is so high it's worth it, and Fords are good for it frown

Absolute crime to waste a classic like that. It was/is a lovely car and I hope it makes it back home!

Argh, nicked cars are bad enough, but classics...

I will keep an ear to the ground but something that distinctive will surely be exported/parted/banger raced cry

There were 2 or 3 classic Fords pinched in Sutton last year sometime ISTR - I think they are in the Wiki?
