Something For The Weekend..?

Join us for the first PH Sunday Service and BBQ hosted by Nissan in Maple Cross

If you're stuck for something to do this weekend, don't forget PistonHeads has a Sunday Service organised - complete with BBQ - at the Nissan HQ in Maple Cross near junction 17 of the M25.

This will be the second time Nissan has generously allowed PHers the use of its spacious car park for a Sunday Service, and as we were all so well-behaved last time around they are not putting any limit on numbers for this one. For more details about the event - and to put your name on the list of attendees - click here. We've already got nearly 200 cars on the list, but there's plenty of room for more so why not join the fun?

Don't worry about the weather because, in the unlikely event it's too wet to BBQ, Nissan has kindly offered to open its staff canteen for subsidised teas, coffees and snacks - a move that proved very popular last time around.

See you there, then!

well it is the centre of the universe, and almost responsible for losing 10% of the earths kids to the little green men!!

Anyway back on topic - its a good reason to really stretch the legs of the motor for a change in my book - over 200 mile round trip for me, and well looking forward to it!

I know, I know. We always do Sunday Services near London. To be honest though we've tried them elsewhere (Gaydon is just about at the centre of country, isn't it?) and they just don't get the numbers. Given the effort involved in setting one up it just isn't worth doing if we can't be certain that we'll get 100+ cars.

That said, I'm sure that a good show of hands in favour of a Northern Sunday service (and a few suggestions as to good venues for us southern softies) might prompt Garlick and I to think again.
